Who Are Climate Autogates?

Climate Autogates are one of the most experienced companies in the U.K. Manufacturing & Installing Automatic Gates.

We are a small family business Established in 1986 manufacturing Wrought Iron Gates then adding Gate Automation to our specialities in the early 1990’s.

We are based at Sawston Trade Park just south of Cambridge, a few minutes from M11 Junction 10, with easy access and parking.

Our Showroom is equipped with a variety of fully operational Electric Gate & Access Control demonstrations.

Our Showroom is currently closed for refurbishment whilst we are not allowed visitors due to Covid-19 restrictions. We are hoping to open to the public once restrictions are lifted via appointment only.

Your Installation Journey

Below are the milestones that you can expect from a typical electric gate installation project. All times quoted should be used as a guide because they can vary depending on time of year and complexity of the install. If you have any questions or would like to find out more, you can contact us or request a quote.

Initial Enquiry
Contact us using our get an estimate form by Clicking here

Please give us as many details as possible with images & dimensions of the proposed gateway and any choices you may have of gate type and style.
Site Visit
If you are happy with your estimate we will visit your site to take all of the measurements and details we need to provide you with a quotation.

We will discuss options that you have around your installation site, asthetics, automation methods, timelines and budget in order to ensure that you end up with an installation that you are happy with and is a good fit for your property.
Quotation
We would normally get a quotation back to you via email within 24 hours of our site survey.

This will give details of all the main components of the installation and any extra access control options such as intercoms, keypads, extra remotes ect.,
Manufacture
Once we have all of the details and specifications of your chosen design we draw up the gates for our manufacturing team.

Making sure we design as many of the safety issues out as possible lessening the need for to many extra safety devices.

We make all of our gates to bespoke sizes, but our designs are standard from our portfolio.

All our metal wrought iron style gates, steel five bar gates or steel framed timber gates are manufactured in house by our very experienced craftsman metal workers.

All our solid hardwood timber gates are manufactured to by local Craftsmen to our specifications.
Installation
Our installation team will arrive on site with your newly manufactured gates and all of the automation peripherals required for your installation. With the upmost care and professionalism they will assemble, fit and safety test your new electric gates. When they have finished you will receive your safety documentation and other documentation. They will train you on how to operate your new gates and will explain the after care procedure.
After Care
Regular servicing ensures that all equipment is kept in operational condition and any external influences that can cause damage to the installation are removed. You can book your service by contacting us directly.
